Volcanoes National Park Rwanda is set along the Virunga Mountains with 8 primeval volcanoes shared by Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo taking two and half 2:30hrs to drive from Kigali Rwanda’s capital. The park is at the center enhancing the discovery of Rwandan cultural experiences. While visiting the endangered species of Mountain Gorillas in the park (thick forests ), one can take on hikes to spot the rare species of Golden Monkeys as well as tremendous hikes to the prominent Dian Fossey tomb. Early in the morning at around 04:30 am you will be welcomed by our guide from Travelinrwanda. Experiences to start off the journey for 2;30 Minutes from Kigali to Musanze Town where Volcanoes national park is located with the most loved safari activity of gorilla trekking in the wilderness of Rwanda.
You will embark into the 4×4 safari jeep and transfer to Volcanoes national park arriving on time at 06:30 am for registration and briefing about Gorillas trekking as you enjoy tea offered by the Volcanoes National Park officials . Later you will drive for around 30 minutes to the start point of the gorilla trekking point mostly at the base of Volcanoes Mountain as you will be accompanied by Armed Park Rangers. Gorilla Trekking is likely to last for 2-6 hours and once found you will be allowed to stay with the mountain gorillas for 1 Full Hour as you take photos and simple videos watching them feeding and playing with the young ones in the wild.
Once the gorilla trekking is done, you will return back to the park headquarters for issuing of gorilla trekking certificates and go for lunch and later proceed to Kigali .
Our guide will be responsible for providing you with reusable bottle water before you enter the jungle for gorilla watching experience.
